Eau Claire Jazz Festival and 52nd Street

You and a guest are invited to join other Blugolds for an exclusive pre-52nd Street celebration us for a special kick-off alumni event on Friday, April 21, at 5:30 p.m. in Wilson Hall at The Lismore Hotel, 333 Gibson St., Eau Claire. 52nd Street is a re-creation of the historic 52nd Street of New York City, where jazz greats like Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, and Louis Armstrong sat in with different ensembles in a variety of nightclubs, simply because they loved to play jazz.  Cost: $15 per person includes wristband and food.

Over 60 bands play at multiple 16 venues along Barstow Street in downtown Eau Claire, featuring a variety of music styles, including ragtime, blues, acoustic, and big band. It's an exciting night of live music downtown — you never know who might bring their horn to sit in!
